Femme It Forward is a joint venture with Live Nation Entertainment. This organization is a female-led music and entertainment platform that centers its mission in celebrating, educating and empowering the industry’s most creative and accomplished female visionaries through multi-format, multi-market consumer experiences.

Femme House is a 501(c)(3) with the goal of creating and fostering more equitable opportunity for womxn, trans, non-binary and other marginalized gender expressions in the technical areas of music.

Gender Amplified is a non-profit organization that aims to celebrate women in music production, raise their visibility and develop a pipeline for girls and young women to get involved behind the scenes as music producers.

Girls Behind the Rock Show

Girls Behind the Rock Show (GBTRS) is a non-profit helping advance women and gender diverse people in the music industry though education and shadowing opportunities. They offer a Facebook networking group with over 9,000 members.

Girls I Rate

Girls I Rate is a movement that pushes for change and creates opportunities for young women in the music and entertainment industry.

Girls Rock London (Based in London)

Girls Rock London is an award-winning charity based in Hackney. They provide high-quality music programming for young and adult women, trans and non-binary people, with specific focus on increasing access for people who face barriers to participation.

Girls Who Listen

Girls Who Listen is a female founded nonprofit dedicated to supporting and shaping future female creatives and executives within the music industry. They put on panels with executives of big companies.

Gold Hand Girls

Gold Hand Girls is dedicated to empowering and connecting women in the music industry. They are a multimedia music platform providing a bold response to breaking industry norms.

Grammy U

Grammy U connects college students with the industry's brightest and most talented minds. They provide aspiring professionals with the tools and opportunities necessary to start a career in music.

Membership cost: one time $50 fee good for up to four undergraduate years and two additional postgraduate years.

Keychange is a movement that counts the discounted. They bring underrepresented genders in the music industry to the main stage by training, mentoring and network support.

Ladies Music Pub is a Facebook group that is an informal and supportive environment to meet other wxmen in the music business in London.

Melocompass

Melocompass aims to empower women and minorities to start a career in music by demystifying and navigating opportunities in the music industry.

Music Ally

Music Ally is a knowledge and skills company for the modern music industry. They have an online database of useful music industry articles. Music Ally also offers online courses for $99/year.

Music Business Association

The Music Business Association (Music Biz) is a non-profit membership organization that advances and promotes music commerce - a community committed to the full spectrum of monetization models in the industry. They offer panels and educational webinars, as well as host a yearly student convention called #NEXTGEN_U.

Music Forward is a nonprofit in the Live Nation family. They transform young lives, inspire careers, and champion a more inclusive music industry. They provide workshops and showcases that connect passions to professions.

Music Gateway is a B2B platform, specifically designed to allow creative and music industry professionals to connect and work together in a global capacity.

Omnii is a collective based in Londen, aiming to inspire women, trans and non-binary sound enthusiasts to operate in all aspects of audio productio. They run workshops to provide and supplement technical knowledge both in the studio and in live sound.

Petok Productions

Petok Productions is a female led production company recognising women working backstage in the creative industries, giving them a platform to share their talent in the world.

Power UP (Based in London)

Power Up is a new ambitious, long-term initiative which will support Black music creators and industry professionals and executives, as well as addressing anti-Black racism and racial disparities in the music sector.

Roadies of Color United

Roadies of Color United started as a social network to represent, introduce and unite those in the concert touring and entertainment services that were not being represented on other industry related social network platforms.

Route

Route is a community interest company aiming to inspire young people from marginalised backgrounds to pursue a career in the music industry by sharing stories, experiences and practical advice from within its numerous fields.

Saffron (Based in the UK)

Saffron operates as a social enterprise that primarily offers training in music production, sound engineering and DJing, as well as running an artist development program and record label.

She is the Music (SITM) is a nonprofit organization increasing the number of womxn working in music – songwriters, engineers, producers, artists and industry professionals. They provide resources and support for womxn-focused initiatives that are working to create meaningful change.

SoundGirls

SoundGirls provides support, career development and tools to help those working in the field advance in their career. They provide a place for women working in professional audio and music production to connect, network and share advice and experiences.

Tour Mgmt 101

Tour Management 101 is a free online learning resource dedicated to teaching the next generation of the concert touring industry. They host a weekly webinar series that focuses on both the fundamentals of touring and the wide-ranging skill set required to be successful in the live event industry. Their live classes held online every Monday at 11:00AM PST on zoom and previous classes can be found on Tour Mgmt 101 Youtube Channel.

We’ve Only Just Begun (Based in Ireland)

We’ve Only Just Begun is a directory which profiles almost 700 female and non-binary identifying musicians, bands, DJs and industry professionals in Ireland.

Well Dunn Foundation

The Well Dunn Foundation provides internships to students with volunteer experience who exhibit talent and drive, coupled with an aspiration to become tomorrow's leaders in the entertainment industry, but lack the necessary financial resources to pursue the educational experience an internship provides.

Women’s Audio Mission

Women’s Audio Mission is a San Francisco/Oakland-based nonprofit organization that uses music and media and an incredible “carrot” of a training environment –  the only professional recording studio in the world built and run by women/GNC individuals

Womxn in CTRL is a not-for-profit organization that was set up to empower and inspire womxn in the entertainment, creative and business sectors of the music industry

Wom+n in the Entertainment Industry is a Facebook group that serves as a safe place for women (including trans women), non-binary folx and anyone who identifies with “the female experience” working in the entertainment industry.

Yellowbrick.co

Offers online NYU Music Industry Essentials course which entails of 6 (3-5 hour) online course modules that teach the essential information of the music industry. Students earn a non-credit certificate of completion from NYU.
Cost: $999 for course ($99/month payment plan available)

Yorkshire Sound Women Network (Based in UK) 

Yorkshire Sound Women Network is a network founded by women working in the sound technology industry who wanted to use their skills and influence to address gender and racial inequality.
